The Regulated Child
Online Course
At "The Regulated Child," we understand that every child is unique, and their journey towards self-regulation is not always a smooth one. We're thrilled to introduce you to our comprehensive online course that empowers parents, foster carers, adopters and professionals with the knowledge and tools to support children's emotional development and self-regulation.
Why "The Regulated Child"?
We live in a different world to the one that we grew up in. The impact of technology and social media has changed the landscape. Our children and young people face a multitude of challenges, self-regulation and has become a critical capability. It empowers them to navigate stress, build resilience, and thrive in various aspects of life.
Our online course is designed to equip you with the insights and strategies needed to strengthen this core capacity in children and young people. To understand what is going on beneath the behaviour that we see, and how, by making small changes in our environment and our daily interactions that we can alter our child’s biology and bring about long lasting change.
Neurodivergence and Childhood Trauma
We specialise in supporting parents, carers and professionals who are caring for or supporting neurodivergent children or those who have been impacted by early trauma. These children experience the world differently and require a whole different level of knowledge and skills. Although “The Regulated Child” provides essential learning for all those caring for and supporting children and young people, it has been written by a parent of a neurodivergent child and an educator and consultant who specialises in childhood trauma.
